DSS successfully conducted its Green Belt Training and Certification program in Pune from the 8th Nov 2005 to 12th Nov 2005.

The training programs had participants from companies such as IBM, Wipro, L&T, MPCS, Emerson and Progeon.

The training got impressive reviews from the candidates and it was particularly rewarding to see the participants appreciate the need for a specialized approach for Software & IT. The trainings were conducted by Ms.Medha Stephen (Director and CTO of DSS). Ms.Stephen is a Master Black Belt with 25 years of experience in the Software & IT domain.

The participants were trained in the DMAIC methodology of Six Sigma. The candidates were encouraged to get a project from their domain, which can be executed during the training period. The participants also worked on case studies related to their industry to get the realistic understanding of Six Sigma implementation. The candidates were also trained on Softwares such as Minitab and Solutions Process- A Six Sigma project tracking software, developed in house by DSS.

We are happy to announce that all the candidates successfully answered the exam at the end of the training and were awarded the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate for Software & IT.
